Jenòm rich la

A rich young man asks Jesus what he needs to do to inherit eternal life - ch.42-1

Yon jou yon jenòm rich te vin jwenn Jezi epi li te mande li kisa pou l te fè pou l te ka ale nan syèl.

The Savior tells the young man to keep the commandments - ch.42-2

Sovè a te di li pou l renmen ak onore papa l ak manman li epi pa touye moun ni pa vòlè ni bay manti. Jenòm rich la te di ke li te toujou obeyi kòmandman yo.

Jesus tells the young man that he needs to sell all that he has and give the money to the poor and follow Him - ch.42-3

Jezi te di jenòm nan ke li te bezwen fè yon lòt bagay ankò. Li te bezwen vann tout sa l te genyen epi bay pòv yo lajan an. Apresa jenòm nan ta dwe suiv li.

The rich young man is unhappy about selling all that he has and leaves - ch.42-4

Jenòm rich la pa t vle abandone tout sa l te genyen. Li te renmen sa l te posede yo plis pase li te renmen Bondye. Jenòm nan te ale byen tris.

Jesus tells His disciples that it is hard for those who love riches to go to heaven - ch.42-5

Sovè a te di disip li yo ke li difisil pou moun ki renmen richès ale nan syèl la. Disip yo pa t konprann. Yo te mande kimoun ki ka viv avèk Bondye. Jezi te di ke moun ki gen konfyans nan Bondye epi ki renmen li plis pase tout lòt bagay kapab viv avèk li nan syèl la.
