The tribe of Benjamin
Jacob blessed Benjamin (Gen. 49:27). The descendants of Benjamin were a warlike race. Two important Benjamites were Saul, the first Israelite king (1 Sam. 9:1–2), and Paul, the New Testament Apostle (Rom. 11:1).
