  1. Damascus Paul was going to this city when Jesus appeared to him and told him to repent. (59)

  2. Caesarea Philippi In this area Jesus testified of His death and Resurrection, and Peter testified that Jesus is the Son of God. (32)

  3. Galilee Jesus spent a lot of time in this region teaching the gospel and healing the sick. (19–20, 34, 36)

  4. Capernaum Jesus performed many miracles in this city. (23–25, 30)

  5. Sea of Galilee Jesus taught the gospel to many people near here. Jesus calmed a storm and walked on the water of the Sea of Galilee. (18, 21, 29)

  6. Cana Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding feast here. A man came here to ask Jesus to heal his sick son. (12, 16)

  7. Nazareth Jesus grew up in this city. (2, 4, 9, 17)

  8. Samaria Jesus taught a woman about living water at a well in this land. Most Jews hated the people of Samaria. (15, 58)

  9. Jordan River John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ in this river. (10)

  10. Joppa Peter brought Tabitha back to life here. (60)

  11. Jericho In the parable of the good Samaritan, a man was nearly killed while traveling on the road to this city. (35)

  13. Bethany Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead, lived here with his sisters Mary and Martha. (43)

  1. Golgotha This may be where Jesus Christ died on the cross. (53)

  2. Garden Tomb This may be where Jesus Christ was buried, was resurrected, and talked with Mary Magdalene. (53, 54)

  3. Pool of Bethesda Jesus healed a man on the Sabbath here. (27)

  4. Temple Here the angel Gabriel promised Zacharias that he would have a son, who was John the Baptist. Jesus taught at this temple. He also drove people out of the temple who were selling animals for sacrifices. (1, 6, 9, 11, 13, 45, 56)

  5. Garden of Gethsemane Jesus Christ prayed, suffered for our sins, was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, and was arrested in this garden. (51, 52)

  6. Mount of Olives Jesus taught about His Second Coming here. (46)

  7. House of Caiaphas This may be the place where Jewish leaders put Jesus on trial, accusing Him of breaking the law. (52)

  8. Upper Room The room where Jesus and His Apostles ate the Passover was probably in this area. Jesus taught His Apostles about the sacrament shortly before going to the Garden of Gethsemane. (49, 50)
