After Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden, they continued to learn about Heavenly Father’s plan for them on earth. They had many children and taught them all that they knew about the Lord. Some of Adam and Eve’s children chose to obey the Lord. But some of them chose not to.

Adam and Eve’s family kept a book of remembrance. They wrote their family history in the book. They wrote about how the Lord helped them.

Cain and Abel

Cain and Abel were two of Adam and Eve’s sons. Abel loved the Lord and chose to follow Him. Cain did not obey the Lord. He chose to rebel.

Adam and Eve’s family kept growing. Many more people were born. They all had the freedom to make choices. In time, some people rebelled against the Lord’s commandments. The Lord sent prophets to teach the people to repent.
