Learn skills for making and keeping good relationships with others.

Goal Ideas

  • Make a plan to strengthen your relationship with a specific person. Write a note of appreciation to him or her. Be specific about the things you appreciate. Find ways to spend time together.

  • Invite someone to do something fun with you. Choose an activity you know this person would enjoy. As you spend time together, focus on the other person. Practice listening as you ask questions, and avoid talking too much about yourself. Get to know and appreciate this person.

  • Are you having a hard time getting along with someone? We all do sometimes. Try praying for this person and doing a secret act of service for him or her. It might not change that person’s feelings, but it probably will change yours.
