Purpose
One great way to meet new people is to get involved in activities at your school and in your community. Many of these activities are inexpensive or even free. You’ll find people who share your interests, which is a great place to begin a friendship!

Sign up for activities or attend events that interest you.

Join a club at school or in the community. If you don’t find one that interests you, find out what it takes to create one.

Check your local library, community center, or other places to learn about cool activities you can go to.

Introduce yourself to new people when you attend activities. If that idea makes you nervous, remember that you’re at the same activity, so you already have at least one thing in common. Start there!
