Purpose
No matter what your skills, ability, or talent, you can create “something that did not exist before” (see Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “Happiness, Your Heritage,” Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2008, 119). So grab some paints, crayons, clay, or any other supplies and make something beautiful.

Sit outside and draw, paint, or color something that catches your attention.

Create a piece of art that represents a goal, dream, feeling, recent discovery, or anything else that is important to you. If you find yourself being critical of your creation or comparing it to things other people have made, make a goal not to criticize or compare yourself to others.

Sign up for an art class at school or in your community.

Create a piece of art and share it with a friend or family member, or give it as a gift. You may want to submit it to the Create site on LDS.org!
