Vieną dieną ant kalno šlaito prie Galilėjos ežero Jėzus mokė savo Apaštalus Evangelijos.

Mato 5:1

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus is teaching the people how to live - ch.20-2

Jis mokė juos, kaip reikia elgtis, kad galėtų būti laimingi ir vėl gyventų su Dangiškuoju Tėvu. Tai, ko Jis mokė juos, gali ir mus padaryti laimingus.

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus is telling the people to be gentle, patient and willing to follow the Lord - ch.20-3

Jėzus sakė, jog mes turėtume būti švelnūs, kantrūs ir pasiruošę paklusti Dangiškajam Tėvui.

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches the people that they should be righteous - ch.20-4

Kaip įmanydami turime stengtis būti teisūs.

Mato 5:6

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches that we should forgive those who do wrong to us - a man who has been injured is pictured with his attacker - ch.20-5

Turėtume atleisti žmonėms, kurie mus įskaudino ar nuliūdino. Jei atleidžiame jiems, Dangiškasis Tėvas atleis ir mums.

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches the people to be peacemakers - people giving food to others is depicted - ch.20-6

Turėtume būti taikdariai, mylėti kitus žmones ir padėti visiems mylėti vienam kitą.

Mato 5:9

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus tells the people to spread the gospel and do good - a man teaching an older woman is depicted - ch.20-7

Neturėtume baimintis pasakoti žmonėms apie Evangelliją ar rodyti jiems, kad mylime Dangiškąjį Tėvą. Matant mūsų gerus darbus aplinkiniams bus lengviau taip pat tikėti Dievą.

Visuomet turėtume laikytis pažadų.

Mato 5:33–37

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches the people to treat others as they would want to be treated - a man is depicted helping a lame man walk - ch.20-9

Norėdami, kad kiti mums būtų malonūs, patys turėtume būti malonūs jiems.

Mato 7:12

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus tells the people they will be happy and blessed if they follow they things He has told them - ch.20-10

Jėzus sakė, kad šitaip elgdamiesi būsime laimingi, Dangiškasis Tėvas mus laimins ir mes vėl gyvensime su Juo.
