Naʻe fāʻeleʻi ʻa Niueli Kimipolo Uitenī ʻi Veamoniti, USA, ʻi he ʻaho 5 ʻo Fēpueli 1795. Naʻe kaumeʻa ʻa ʻAna mo Niueli ʻi ha taʻu ʻe tolu peá na toki mali ʻi he 1823.

Naʻe fekumi leva ʻa Niueli mo ʻAna ki he moʻoní pea ne ʻi ai e taimi naʻá na kau ai ki he kautaha lotu Kamipelité, ʻa ē naʻa nau tala kuo toe fakafoki mai ai e siasi faka-Kalisitiane ʻo e kuonga muʻá. Naʻe ʻikai ngata pē ʻi hono foaki ʻe he fāmili Niuelí ha feituʻu ke nofo ai e fāmili Sāmitá, kae toe ʻoange foki mo e konga ki ʻolunga ʻi hono falekoloá ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻe he Siasí.
