Scripture Time Fun for Little Ones

These ideas go along with Come, Follow Me—for Individuals and Families each week.

For Doctrine and Covenants 20–22: Help your little ones say, “I belong to Jesus Christ’s Church.” Teach them to make the shape of a Church building with their hands, or help them draw a picture of themselves going to church.

For Doctrine and Covenants 23–26: Help your little ones say, “Music makes me happy.” Then pick a song from the Children’s Songbook to sing together. Help your children learn some of the words.

For Doctrine and Covenants 27–28: Find something your children can wear as a pretend helmet and something they can hold like a shield. March around and help your little ones say, “The armor of God helps keep me safe.”

For Doctrine and Covenants 29: Help your little ones say, “Jesus lives!” Show them a picture of the resurrected Christ. Then show them pictures of family members who have died. Talk about how because Jesus was resurrected, everyone will live again someday.
