On July 14, 2019, the Music and the Spoken Word broadcast marked its 90th year.

To celebrate the culmination of the anniversary year for Music & the Spoken Word, join The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square for the broadcast-only event Music for a Summer Evening: Celebrating 90 Years of Broadcasting on Saturday, July 18, 2020. (Please note that there will be no live event in the Conference Center.)

The pre-recorded broadcast special will feature The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square performing a selection of their most beloved music; past performances by Bryn Terfel, Sissel, and Kristin Chenoweth; and recorded comments by other guest artists who have appeared with the choir over the years on concerts and Music & the Spoken Word, such as Hugh Bonneville, Donny Osmond, Alfie Boe, David Foster, Kelli O’Hara, and others.
