The blessing of Fast Offerings
I could feel the spirit and the love of God
Giving my fast offering monthly gives me a feeling of delight and happiness as I follow Christ’s commandment of helping the needy.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we are expected to give a generous fast offering; this donation should be at least the cost of two meals. We usually do this the first Sunday of each month. Giving my fast offering monthly gives me a feeling of delight and happiness as I follow Christ’s commandment of helping the needy.
I testify of the many blessings I have received in my life since I started giving a fast offering. I am constantly being reminded of a quote: “Freely give, freely receive.” The lord has blessed me through my relatives abroad, who return that same favor to my family. I know that if we continue to give generous fast offerings to help others, we will see even greater blessings in our lives and our families.
