The storm ends, as storms always do. The sun comes out, as it always will.
Well, now I know what shook the house. The wind blew the tree behind the house onto the garage roof.
The tree with the swing?
The tree I like to climb?
The roof?
The roof can be fixed.
We can plant another tree.
I’m just glad we’re all OK.
We were blessed.
After a prayer of thanks and a good breakfast—
C’mon. Let’s go check on the neighbors.
You and I can start cleaning up the yard.
You gotta love how they pray and work together and look out for others.
Me? You might say I’m too chicken to go outside today.
