Soul

The term soul can refer to a body and spirit together on earth. It can also refer to an immortal, resurrected person whose spirit and body have become inseparably united for eternity. In scripture, it is sometimes used as a synonym for spirit. For more information about the nature of spirits, see “Spirit (or Soul).”
