Philip Burroughs
(1794–1865)
Philip Burroughs was born in New Jersey. After serving in the War of 1812, he married Anna Parker and moved with her to Seneca Falls, New York, near Fayette. In September 1830, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints held meetings in their home. Anna was baptized into the Church, but there is no record of Philip’s membership.
