Remembering Spiritual Experiences

The Nephites started to fall into wickedness as they let themselves forget the signs of the birth of Jesus Christ and the miracles they had seen. Similarly, if we forget our spiritual experiences, it will be easier for us to drift away from the gospel.

  • Spiritually Defining Memories.” In this general conference address, Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles teaches that spiritual experiences, when brought back to our minds, are like luminous stones that can brighten the way before us.

  • Remembering Jar.” Use this activity from the Ensign series “Family Study Fun” to help your family notice the blessings of God in your daily lives.

  • Scripture Journal.” This activity idea from the Friend can help your children start writing what they learn from the scriptures. Includes a doorknob tag to print and cut out.

Coming Together in Strength

The Nephites found strength in numbers when they gathered together to fight against the Gadianton robbers. Similarly, when we unite as members of the Church, we can find power and peace together as we defend ourselves against the forces of the adversary.
