Question Corner

I’m worried about a problem in my family, and I keep praying about it, but it doesn’t seem to be getting better. What can I do?

Talk to your parents about this problem that’s concerning you and work it out. And you can talk to a friend. If that doesn’t work, ask a counselor or a teacher.

Dallin L. age 11, Utah, USA

Hope. Keep praying. Heavenly Father will answer your prayers, but maybe not right when you want Him to. He may also not answer in the way you want Him to. Just keep praying.

Cora L., age 10, Washington, USA

If you have a problem, you could read a scripture that has to do with your problem.

Chloe K., age 7, Washington, USA

Maybe you could have a family meeting and talk about the problem. In Matthew 7:7 it says: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” If you keep praying and listening, you will find the answer.

Julianne L., age 9, Colorado, USA

Ask for a priesthood blessing. Tell someone you trust.

Morgan M., age 8, Arizona, USA

Remember Heavenly Father loves you, and things can work out for the best. When my baby brother was born, he had a paralyzed muscle under his lungs. He could not breathe right. For three years he spent months in the hospital. It was really scary. But now Reagan is OK! Keep praying!

Abbigail L., age 12, Texas, USA

After praying, there’s more you can do to help solve the problem. The Primary song “Kindness Begins with Me” talks about being a shining example of kindness. If everyone follows your example, suddenly there will be nothing to get angry about. Remember, it only takes one person.
