Dress for Success

Missionaries dress modestly and neatly. They also take care of the clothes they wear. Ask a parent to help you learn these skills:

Mending—Sew a button on a shirt, repair a simple tear or hem, shine scuffs on shoes.

Laundering—Separate clothes into similar colors, set the dials on the washer and dryer, add detergent or dryer sheets.

Ironing—Carefully select the right iron temperature, use the ironing board.

Storing—Hang clothes up or fold them, organize your closet.

Mix-n-Match Deli Rolls

1 flour tortilla

3 slices of deli meat, such as turkey or chicken

2 slices of cheese, such as mozzarella or cheddar

4 thin slices of cucumber

4 thin slices of avocado

  1. Layer the ingredients on the tortilla.

  2. Roll the tortilla up and slice it into pieces. Skewer each roll with a toothpick to hold it together.

  3. Try mixing different combinations of meat and cheese and pick which is your favorite.
