Line oblong baking pan with foil. Put wire rack over pan. Place strips of bacon on rack. Bake at 400° F (205° C) on upper over rack until crisp, about 15 minutes.
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup biscuit baking mix
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup salad oil
raisins, banana slices, or cereal
powdered sugar (optional)
Blend egg and milk together.
Add biscuit mix, and beat until smooth. Stir in wheat germ and oil.
Heat griddle over medium heat, and grease if necessary.
Spoon two to four table-spoonfuls batter onto middle of griddle. Quickly turn spoon over and push out nose, chin, curly hair or braids. When bubbles start to appear on pancake, carefully flip it over with turner.
While pancake finishes cooking, add raisins, banana slices, or cereal for eyes and mouth. Powdered sugar could be used to color hair. Use your imagination and see whom you can create!
7 ice cubes
1 cup half and half (light cream)
1 cup crushed pineapple, undrained
2 bananas, sliced
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 cups orange juice
Blend all ingredients except orange juice in blender. Pour into large pitcher, then stir in orange juice. If blender is not available, crush ice and mash bananas, then blend all ingredients by hand.
