Isaiah 60

Let Your Light Shine

Elder Boyd K. Packer prophesied: “Across the world, those who now come by tens of thousands will inevitably come as a flood to where the family is safe. Here [in the Church] they will worship the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, by the gift of the Holy Ghost, and know that the gospel is the great plan of happiness, of redemption” (in Conference Report, Apr. 1994, 26–27; or Ensign, May 1994, 21).

Elder Packer’s prophecy is much like the one in Isaiah 60. In chapter 60, Isaiah spoke of a day of darkness on the earth when Zion will be rebuilt, and stand out as a bright light, and have all nations of the earth honor her and look to her for leadership.
