These ideas go along with Come, Follow Me—for Individuals and Families each week.

Come, Follow Me ideas for young children

For Doctrine and Covenants 10–11: Help your little ones flex their muscles and say, “Praying helps me be strong.” Then help your children list things they can pray for help with.

For Doctrine and Covenants 12–13; Jospeh Smith—History 1:66–75: Flip through the pages of this magazine and help your little ones point to the pictures of people being baptized. Each time, help them say, “I can be baptized someday.”

For Doctrine and Covenants 14–17: Help your little ones say, “I can help others learn about Jesus.” Then share with them your favorite story or song about Jesus.

For Doctrine and Covenants 18–19: Help your little ones say, “I am important to Heavenly Father.” Then sing “I Am a Child of God” (Children’s Songbook, 2) and have your children give themselves a hug when they sing the words, “I am a child of God.”
