Come to church—everyone’s invited!
One of the best ways to learn more and get a sense of our community is to attend church with us! You don't have to be a member to attend a worship service. Visitors are always welcome. Our Sunday worship services include partaking of the sacrament (or Communion) and participating in Sunday School and other church classes.
Meet with the missionaries
Missionaries can help you learn about our beliefs by sharing brief messages about Jesus, God’s plan for you, and how you can strengthen your family. They can answer your questions about the Church and how to become a member. If you want to talk about other topics or have specific questions, just ask! Meeting with the missionaries doesn’t mean you have decided to join the Church. It’s simply a way you can learn more about it.
Get baptized
How will you know if you want to get baptized? You will know when you have a sure, peaceful feeling that what you have learned is true. We call this a testimony. When you gain a testimony of Jesus and His gospel, you can follow His example by being baptized. Jesus was baptized by immersion in the Jordan River by John the Baptist (see Matthew 3:13–17). Jesus taught, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). You can be baptized either by a missionary or by someone you have come to know at church.
