Ilay Fariseo sy ilay Mpanora-dalàna

Jesus tells a parable to some people who think they are better and more righteous than others - ch.40-1

Indray andro ny Mpamonjy dia niresaka tamin’ny olona maromaro izay nihevitra fa izy ireo dia marina kokoa noho ny olona hafa. Nitantara tantara tamin’izy ireo i Jesoa.

Lioka 18:9

A Pharisee and a publican go to the temple to pray - ch.40-2

Nisy lehilahy roa nandeha tany amin’ny tempoly mba hivavaka. Fariseo ny iray. Ny iray kosa dia mpanora-dalàna, izay mpanangona hetra. Tsy tian’ny olona ny mpanangona hetra. Nihevitra izy ireo fa ny mpanangona hetra dia tsy mba marin-toetra.

Lioka 18:10

The Pharisee thanks God that he is better than other people - The publican prays for mercy on himself as a sinner - ch.40-3

Ilay Fariseo dia nijoro teo anoloan’ireo olona hafa mba hivavaka. Nisaotra an’Andriamanitra izy fa tsaratsara kokoa noho ny olon-kafa. Nilaza izy fa mifady hanina in-droa isan-kerinandro ary mandoa ny fahafolonkarenany. Nitsangana ilay mpanora-dalàna, nanondrika ny lohany ary nivavaka hoe: “Andriamanitra ô mamindra fo amiko fa mpanota aho.”

Lioka 18:11–13

Jesus explains that the Pharisee thought he did not sin or need help from God, but the publican admitted sinning and wanted to repent - ch.40-4

Ilay Fariseo dia nihevi-tena ho tonga lafatra ka tsy mila ny fanampian’Andriamanitra. Fa ilay mpanora-dalàna kosa dia nahafantatra fa tsy tonga lafatra izy ary mila ny fanampian’Andriamanitra. Nanetry tena izy ary nangataka tamin’Andriamanitra mba hamela ny helony.

Lioka 18:14

Jesus tells the people to be like the publican because he, not the Pharisee, would be forgiven - ch.40-5

Nilaza i Jesoa fa ny olona dia tokony ho tahaka ilay mpanora-dalàna. Tsy tokony hieritreritra izy ireo fa tsaratsara kokoa noho ny olona hafa. Tokony hibebaka amin’ny fahotany izy ireo ary hangataka amin’Andriamanitra mba hamela ny helony.

Lioka 18:14
