Africa Central Area Bids Farewell to Elder Joseph and Sister Gladys Sitati

The Africa Central Area extends its earnest thanks to Elder Joseph W. Sitati and Sister Gladys Sitati for their service in the area. Elder Sitati served as the President of the Africa Central Area from August 2020 to August 2022, supported by his wife, Gladys.

Elder Sitati was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2009 and has spent the past 13 years faithfully serving in a variety of positions, including as a Counsellor in the Africa West Area Presidency, an assistant executive director in the Priesthood and Family Department, an assistant executive director in the Missionary Department, and First Counsellor in the Africa Southeast Area. He is now honourably released as a general authority and is recognized as an emeritus seventy.

As they move into this new phase of their lives, we pray that the Sitatis will be richly blessed for their leadership and their service, which were so freely given.
