What the Prophet and Apostles Teach Us

A matching game

Every general conference, the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles speak during at least one of the sessions. They teach us what Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want us to do to be happy.

On page 24 are pictures of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as children. Next to each picture is the person’s name and what he spoke on at last year’s October general conference.* Match this with the picture of him now on page 25. Then, on the blank lines next to his recent picture, write his name and what he spoke on during this year’s October general conference.

Instructions: After you have filled out the pages, carefully remove pages 24 and 25 from the magazine and glue them on heavy paper; let dry. Cut out the cards. Mix up the cards and turn them all over with the pictures facing down. With your family or friends, take turns drawing two cards to match the Prophet’s or Apostle’s recent picture with his younger picture.
