Favorite Recipe of President Wilford Woodruff

The following recipe for bread and milk comes from the family of Douglas Owen Woodruff, a grandson of the president. Its use is traditional in the Woodruff family.

“Break whole wheat bread into a bowl of milk. Stir in bits of crumbled cheese and cut green onion. Pieces of apple or little green grapes can be used instead for variety.”

A painting of President Woodruff is on this month’s inside back cover.
