The first line in the new Young Women Theme reads “I am a daughter of Heavenly Parents, with a divine nature and eternal destiny.”
To be a daughter of Heavenly Parents means that you are the offspring of Deity, a literal descendant of a Divine Father and Mother, inheriting godly attributes and potential.
Sister Bonnie H. Cordon, Young Women General President, taught: “You are literally the spirit daughters of Heavenly Parents, and nothing can separate you from Their love and the love of your Savior. ... Knowing your identity and purpose will help you align your will with the Savior’s” (“Beloved Daughters,” October 2019 general conference).
