I will see the light
Jesus invites us to “believe in the light” (John 12:36). For a reminder to follow Jesus in faith, set your phone’s wallpaper to be one of your favorite pieces of Christ-centered artwork. You can also share the piece with your social network if you feel so inspired.
After entering Jerusalem, one of the first places Jesus visits is the temple. His Father’s house is supposed to be a sacred place of light and peace, but Jesus finds that light dimmed by the various merchants who have set up shop inside to market their wares. Jesus removes them, and immediately the view improves. He can do the same for us. When we believe in Jesus Christ, we can lift our sights above the things of this world and focus on what is sacred.
Read the account of Jesus cleansing the temple in the Bible
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
