The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
We’re members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or Latter-day Saints for short. We’re your neighbors, friends, and family members—a community of believers trying to be a little better each day with Jesus Christ’s help. And with 16 million of us in 30,000 congregations across 160 countries, there’s room for anyone who wants to love, learn, and serve with us.
A desire to serve others is just one thing Latter-day Saints have in common with other Christians. We also believe that praying to God can heal lives and help us find answers, and we love and cherish the God’s word. But most of all, we believe we can live happier and more fulfilling lives by following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
That’s who we are in a nutshell. If you’d like to know more, explore our beliefs here or in the videos above. And if that doesn’t satisfy your curiosity, we have about 60,000 missionaries around the world who would love to tell you all about the teachings of Jesus Christ and how they inspire us every day.
