We’ve Got Mail

Beautiful and Inspirational Music

All the speakers are so inspired and left me with a greater desire to be better. As always, the music touched me deeply. When the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing,” which is my favorite hymn, for the closing song, it felt like an answer to prayer. The song of the righteous truly is a prayer unto God [see D&C 25:12], and I am grateful that we have such beautiful and inspirational music to uplift us and to show God a little appreciation for everything He has done for us and given to us.

Grateful for Conference

This general conference was amazing. I felt that many of the messages that were shared applied to my life. I can now take these messages and apply them to me. I am so grateful that we are able to have conference every six months.

Young Women Meeting

Watching the general Young Women meeting has always been important to me. There is power and strength in the number of righteous young women coming together to draw closer to the Lord. Many of my personal questions were answered, and many of my fears diminished as these faithful sisters and the prophet spoke. They testified of faith, virtue, diligence, education, obedience, and endurance. I know that Christ is the head of this gospel. He loves us and has given us humble and worthy leaders to help us return to Him.

A Clear Message

I was amazed at how much President Dieter F. Uchtdorf’s talk hit home to me. I tend to compare myself to others so I’ll feel better about myself, but we should all be striving to support each other and celebrate our individual talents. We want to see others succeed, and we need to just let go and stop envying. The message is clear-cut and not impossible.

Comfort and Answers

I felt a great amount of comfort and peace while listening to conference. My testimony grew of Heavenly Father’s love for me. There are a lot of things I need to improve on, but I’ll be able to accomplish anything with the Lord’s help.

I gained something new from each talk and had many questions answered. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned and hope to apply it to my life.

Military Stories

I appreciated the stories about the military. Like many other people, I have ancestors and current family members who served in the armed forces. I felt a special closeness to the military stories that were shared this conference.
