Missionary Preparation

To J.E.H. and Many Others

By Peter B. Ball

I have known a missionary,

Hardly known, but I have—

Known his power,

Known his testimony,

Known his faith.

And I have resolved this day to

Know that power,

Know that testimony,

Know that faith,

In my own life and thereby—

Know myself.
