Is My Offering Enough?

The disciples knew that five loaves and two fishes amounted to a meager offering (see John 6:7–9). Yet the Savior was able to turn it into the miracle that fed 5,000 people.

The Lord has said, “I am able to do mine own work” (2 Nephi 27:20); He can accomplish His purposes without a single loaf or fish from us. But He still asks us to offer “the heart and a willing mind” (Doctrine and Covenants 64:34).

No matter what we consecrate to His work—our possessions, talents, time, faith, love—or how much we’re able to contribute, the Savior can multiply and make use of every willing, heartfelt offering to build His kingdom and do His work.

Consider what was accomplished with the willing hearts and minds offered by these people:
