Ministering Is for Everyone
Photograph by Joshua Dennis
I thought ministering was just for reaching out to people who weren’t members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But one day one of the counselors in the bishopric asked me if I could accompany him to visit and minister to a member in our ward.
At that moment, my perspective on ministering changed. It is not simply for people who are not members. We can minister to everyone, whether they are members of the Church or not. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had. When I went to minister, I could feel peace by being able to help and serve like Jesus Christ would do.
