A Bigger Picture
Have you ever played the why game? It goes something like this:
Why should I go to school? So you can get a good job. Why should I get a good job? So I can get married and have kids. Why should I do that? So your kids can go to school.
Then the game starts all over again. It seems pointless without a bigger picture. That is what we are blessed to have. It’s called the plan of happiness, and it gives us purpose and meaning. It gives us the reasons that matter here and eternally. That is what this issue of the For the Strength of Youth magazine is all about.
Within the context of Heavenly Father’s plan—and with Jesus Christ and His Atonement smack-dab in the center of it—you will find the desire and strength to prepare for the future. Your education, employment, family, and service in the Church can be a great quest rather than an overwhelming burden.
You’ve got this because Jesus Christ has got you!
With love,
