For 1 Corinthians 8–13

Story: We are all different, and God loves each of us. The Church needs all of us, just like we need each part of our body (see 1 Corinthians 12:12–18).

Song: “I Have Two Little Hands” (Children’s Songbook, 272)

Activity: Have a family dance party! Turn on some happy music and move your body to the songs. How do the parts of your body work together? How can you use your body to help others?

Song: “Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam” (Children’s Songbook, 60)

Activity: Draw a sun on paper or outside with sidewalk chalk. Place “clouds” (like rocks or cotton balls) on your sun. Talk about a time you repented and felt better. Then remove the clouds one by one until your sun is shining brightly!

Activity: On slips of paper, write down the names of people who might need your help. Then write how you can help that person. Put the papers in a hat or basket and shake them up. Choose one and do what it says!

For Galatians

Story: When we keep the commandments and listen to the Holy Ghost, we receive blessings in our lives. Paul called these blessings “the fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22–23).

Song: “The Still Small Voice” (Children’s Songbook, 106–7)

Activity: Turn to page 8 and do the activity to learn more about the fruits of the Spirit. What other blessings does the Holy Ghost give you?
