Possible Ideas for Family Home Evening

  1. Use the Bringing Primary Home lesson and activity to learn more about this month’s Primary theme (pages 40–41).

  2. Read President Thomas S. Monson’s message on pages 2–3. As a family, talk about what it means to sing our sweetest song. Invite family members to write down how they can sing their sweetest song for the Lord.

  3. Read “Healthy & Happy” (page 13). Role-play what happens when you take care of your body and what can happen if you don’t. Talk about other ways you can take care of your body.

  4. In “Remembering a Special Day” (pages 18–19), Allison remembers her baptism. Have family members share memories of when they were baptized. Younger children can talk about what they look forward to and how they can prepare for baptism.

  5. “The Story of the Book of Mormon” shows many important moments from the scriptures (pages 24–27). Pick one of those moments, read the suggested chapter or chapters as a family, and act out or draw the scene.
