It’s Raining

To make a device that sounds like rain, you will need: crayons or colored marking pens, an empty paper towel tube, tape, and 1/3 cup small pebbles.

  1. Use the crayons or marking pens to decorate the paper towel tube. If it is going to be a gift, you could write the person’s name on it.

  2. Seal one end of the tube with tape.

  3. Put the pebbles inside the tube and seal the open end with tape. Tip the tube from side to side to hear the sound of rain.
