Cooking with Nuns
Many hours of community service were given last year, working closely with nuns from the local convent in Aberdeen. By working together, we prepared meals every week for the homeless in the city centre.
The full-time missionaries were also involved in this service opportunity, building wonderful relationships with the sisters at the convent. Our missionary sisters have been invited to attend the convent and discuss their work in sharing the gospel worldwide.
On Christmas Eve 2019, missionaries and members worked alongside other faith communities, to cook a three-course meal for 100 people in the city that day.
This is an ongoing Just Serve project. The holy sisters are so grateful for the church and the help that is given so freely.
