Conference Center Exhibits

Welcome to the Conference Center, the start of your Temple Square experience in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Conference Center hosts many different exhibits and experiences from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including sacred artwork of the Savior and historical artifacts from the Salt Lake Temple. We hope you feel inspired and uplifted as you join us here.

Gallery of Artwork of the Savior Jesus Christ

Experience peace as you view multiple exhibits showcasing artwork of the Savior Jesus Christ as recorded in the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon. Artwork also depicts the lives and faith of those who have followed Him throughout time.

Salt Lake Temple Artifacts and Scale Model

Get a close-up view of the interior of the Salt Lake Temple with a 3D cutaway model of the Salt Lake Temple. The model shows what the temple looked like inside before the seismic renovation began in 2020. Enjoy additional artifacts such as tools used to build the temple and original temple furnishings.

Salt Lake Temple Orientation Film

Watch a 17-minute film providing a welcome to Temple Square, including information about the construction of the Salt Lake Temple. Learn why temples are important to Latter-day Saints as a place to worship God. Located in the Conference Center.

Statue of Jesus Christ

Spend time reflecting and feeling the peace of the Savior Jesus Christ as you view a replica of the sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen’s famous Christus statue. Statues are located in the Conference Center and the North Visitors’ Center.

Conference Center Film

View an 18-minute film in the main auditorium of the Conference Center that shares the history of the Conference Center and how this building is used today to host worldwide conferences for the Church.

Conference Center Observation Deck

Take an elevated look at the current seismic renovation work of the Salt Lake Temple. View the north side of the temple, including a look at the foundation work and installation of a seismic system.

Conference Center Rooftop Gardens

Take a moment to rest and contemplate God and the beauties of nature in this rooftop garden, which features flora of the mountains and desert valley of the Great Salt Lake area.
