If you’re a young man, you’ll receive this emblem the year you turn twelve, probably at the same time you get your temple recommend holder. It’s a ring (made of silicone) with an image of the temple on it. As a child, your ring reminded you to “Choose the Right.” As a young man, the ring is more specific: look toward the temple and stay on the covenant path.
