A red dot represents a city or town.

A small black triangle represents a mountain.

Dead Sea

This typeface is used for geographic places such as seas, rivers, mountains, deserts, and islands.

Jerusalem

This typeface is used for cities and towns (and for the detailed locations on the Jerusalem city map).

Moab

This typeface is used for smaller political divisions such as regions, peoples, and tribes.

Judea

This typeface is used for larger political divisions such as empires and nations.
