ʻI hono kotoa e taimi naʻe ngāue ai ʻa Hāloti B. Lií, naʻá ne faka-mamafaʻi e akonaki ko ʻení: “Ko e meʻa ʻoku tau feinga ki aí ke tau tokangaʻi kitautolu mo tau moʻui ʻi he founga ke ʻi ai ha ʻaho te tau toe lava ai ʻo foki atu ki ʻapi ki he ʻOtua ko ia naʻá ne foaki ʻa e moʻuí kia kitautolú ke tau foki atu ki he ʻafioʻanga ʻo e Tamai Taʻengata ko iá.“1

Ngaahi Akonaki ʻa Hāloti B. Lií

Ko e hā e taumuʻa ʻo ʻetau moʻui ʻi he māmaní?

Ko e hā e taumuʻa ʻo e moʻuí … ? Ko e tali ki aí ʻoku lava ke maʻu ia ʻi he potu folofola ʻe taha ʻokú ne fakahā mai e taumuʻa ʻa e ʻOtuá ki hono foaki mai ʻo e moʻuí, pea naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻa e tau-muʻa ko iá ʻi ha fakahā naʻe fai ki he palōfita ko Mōsesé: “He ko ʻeku ngāué ʻeni mo hoku nāunaú—ke fakahoko ʻa e moʻui taʻe-mate mo e moʻui taʻengata ʻa e tangatá.” [Mōsese 1:39.] Kapau ʻe mānava pē ha taha ʻi he moʻui fakamatelié ʻi ha kiʻi miniti siʻi pea mate, pe ko haʻane moʻui fuoloa tatau mo e moʻui ʻa ha fuʻu ʻakau, ʻe kei fakahoko pē ʻa e taumuʻa ia ʻa ʻetau Tamaí ki hono maʻu ʻo e moʻui taʻematé. Pea ko e meʻa ʻoku ui ko e moʻui taʻengatá, ko e moʻui ia ʻi ha founga ʻe lava ke lau ai e tokotaha ko iá ʻokú ne taau ke maʻu e moʻui taʻengatá ʻi he ʻafioʻanga ʻo e ʻOtua ko e Tamaí pea mo e ʻAló. 3

Naʻe hoko pē e tangatá ʻi he maama fakalaumālié ko e fānau ʻa e ʻOtuá. Naʻe fakatupu e māmaní mo fokotuʻutuʻu ke hoko ko e nofoʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālie naʻe fanauʻi ʻi he langí ka kuo nau maʻu ha sino fakamatelie ke “ʻahiʻahiʻi ʻakinautolu ʻi he meʻá ni ke vakai pe te nau fai ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻe fekau ʻe he ʻEiki ko honau ʻOtuá kiate kinautolú.” [Vakai ki he ʻĒpalahame 3:25.] Ko e taumuʻa ʻa e ʻOtuá ki hono fai ʻo e meʻá ni “ke fakahoko ʻa e mo- ʻui taʻematé mo e moʻui taʻengatá“ pe, ʻi hono fakalea ʻe tahá, ke fakafoki e laumālie takitaha ki he ʻafioʻanga ʻo e ʻOtua ko ia naʻá ne foaki ʻa e moʻuí kiate iá, pea mo ha sino toetuʻu ʻoku ʻikai moʻu-laloa ki he maté pea kuo fakahaohaoaʻi, ke nofo taʻengata ʻi he ʻafioʻanga ʻo hotau ʻEikí pea mo e Tamai ʻatautolu hono kotoá, ko e ola ʻo e moʻui lavameʻa ʻi he māmaní. 4

Naʻe fai ʻe [Palesiteni Siaosi F. Lisiate] ʻa e talanoa ko ʻení, ko ha talanoa ki ha talavou naʻe fakaʻamu lahi ke ako. Naʻe ʻikai lava ʻe heʻene ongo mātuʻá ke totongi ʻene akó ʻi he kolisí, ko ia naʻá ne lue lalo ai ki he kolo naʻe tuʻu ai e kolisí, pea ʻi he hili haʻane fakaʻekeʻeke takai holo naʻá ne maʻu ha feituʻu ke nofo totongi ai. Naʻe ʻoange ʻe ha taha ʻo e kau palōfesa he kolisí ki mui mai haʻane ngāue ko e tā fefie ke totongi ʻaki ʻene akó. ʻI he fanongo ʻa e niʻihi kehé ki he lelei ʻene tā fefié, naʻa nau totongi ia ke ne tā ʻenau fefié. Pea fakatatau mo e mamata meʻa hā mai ʻa Sioné ”Pea mo e folahi ʻo e ngaahi tohí: pea folahi mo e tohi ʻe taha, ʻa ia ko e tohi ʻo e moʻuí: pea naʻe fakamāuʻi ʻa e pekiá mei he ngaahi meʻa naʻe tohi ʻi he ngaahi tohí, ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau ngaahi ngāué.“ (Fakahā 20:12.) ʻOku ʻuhinga ʻa e “ngaahi tohi” ʻoku lau ki aí ki he “ngaahi lekooti [ʻo hoʻomou ngaahi ngāué] ʻa ia ʻoku tauhi ʻi he māmaní.… Ko e tohi ʻo e moʻuí ko e lekooti ia ʻoku tauhi ʻi he langí. (T&F 128:7.) Ko kimoutolu ko ia naʻa mou moʻui anga-tonu pea mou mate kuo teʻeki ai ke mou hoko ko ha kau pōpula ki he angahalá, pe kuo mou ʻosi fakatomala moʻoni mei hoʻomou ngaahi angahalá, te mou hū ki he “mālōlōʻanga ʻo e ʻEikí,” pea ko e mālōlōʻanga ko iá ko “hono fakakakato ia ʻo e nāunau ʻo e ʻEikí.“ [Vakai ki he T&F 84:24.]8
