Make Friends with Members of Your Ward

The Apostle Paul taught that when you join a congregation of Saints, you are not “strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens” (Ephesians 2:19).

Each congregation of Church members is like an extended family where you will receive friendship and support. Take time to become friends with some of the members!

  • If you have a mobile device, download the Member Tools app. If you use an Android device, you can download the app from the Google Play store. If you use an iOS device, you can download the app from the Apple App Store. After downloading the Member Tools app, log in with your Church account. In the app, you can look up contact information for the people in your ward.

  • From the Member Tools app, look up your account, update your contact information, and add a photo of yourself. Make sure to review and update the content in Covenant Path Progress.

  • Become better acquainted with your leaders (the bishop, elders quorum president, Relief Society president, Primary president, and Aaronic Priesthood quorum and Young Women leaders) and members of your class or quorum. Talk to them about upcoming activities, future lessons, and opportunities to serve.
