Starting Today I’m Asking for Direction

Jesus taught, “Ask, and ye shall receive” (John 16:24). Prayer has the power to bring blessings into our lives. Take a moment today to write down some of the answers you’ve received through prayer. If you feel directed, share your experiences with family, friends, and others.

In the evening, Jesus Christ gathers His Apostles to share a meal and express to them His love. The Last Supper is a sacred moment that takes place before Jesus enters the Garden of Gethsemane. He knows that soon He will sacrifice His life, and His disciples will be without Him. He introduces the ordinance of the sacrament so that they will always remember His sacrifice, and He teaches the power of prayer. He encourages His disciples to ask their Father in Heaven for the things they need so that they can know that God hears and answers the prayers of His children.

To learn more about how to receive personal revelation and hear the voice of Jesus Christ, listen to modern-day prophets and apostles share how we can “Hear Him!”
