We have all made mistakes that hurt our relationship with God. But Jesus suffered in Gethsemane and on the cross so we could repent, be forgiven, and restore our harmonious relationship with God. Even in His agony on the cross, the Savior prayed that those who mocked and persecuted Him would be forgiven.
