Day 6: “Forgive Them” (Luke 23:34)

We have all made mistakes that hurt our relationship with God. But Jesus suffered in Gethsemane and on the cross so we could repent, be forgiven, and restore our harmonious relationship with God. Even in His agony on the cross, the Savior prayed that those who mocked and persecuted Him would be forgiven.

• Think of someone who has hurt or offended you. What can you do to begin to forgive them? How does knowing that Christ was willing to die for everyone help you see that person differently?

• Read some scriptures about forgiveness today.
