Accessing the Global Communication Network (GCN)

The Church Communication Department offers a variety of resources on the Global Communication Network (GCN). This is a password-protected site on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. The website contains training and reference materials, success stories, and downloadable templates, with new information added often. There may also be pages with content specific to your area.

Stake presidents and their counselors have access to GCN, as do all General Authorities and General Officers, Quorums of the Seventy, mission presidencies, and the following communication council callings:

• Communication director

• Assistant communication director

• Communication specialist

Note: To gain access to GCN, stake clerks must add council members to the Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR) directory. Communication councils at the coordinating council level are added to the Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders (CDOL) through someone on the area communication council.
