Handout 5: Asking and Answering Questions
Answering My Gospel Questions—Handouts
(Note: This activity could be done in small groups or as a class.) Write on a slip of paper a question someone not of our faith might have about the topic we are discussing. If you are doing this activity as a class, your teacher will collect your questions. If you are doing this activity in a small group, designate a leader who will collect your questions. Then either your teacher or group leader will randomly select a question and invite either a class or group member to share a response that reflects the Church’s position on this question. As a class or group, discuss the strength of the response and how it might be improved. The teacher or group leader will then draw another question for someone else to answer. Repeat as time permits.
