“Umphefumlo Wam Uye Walamba”

Njengoko umprofeti u-Enoshe wayezingela izilo ehlathini, wacinga ngawo “amazwi [awaye]dla ngokuweva rhoqo ethethwa ngubawo [wakhe] malunga nobomi banaphakade, novuyo lwabangcwele.” Wona la mazwi “angena nzulu entliziyweni [yakhe]” (Enoshe 1:3).

Ngenxa yokuba u-Enoshe waye kwesisimo sengqondo yokwasemoyeni, yena wayiva ngamandla imfuneko: ”Umphefumlo wam uye walamba,” yena watsho (Enoshe 1:4; ugxininiso longezelelwe).

Waye wenza ntoni u-Enoshe xa wayesiva okukulamba ngokwasemoyeni, lemfuneko yokondliwa ngokwasemoyeni? “Ndaza ndaguqa phambi koMenzi wam,” yena watsho, “ndakhala kuye ngomthandazo onamandlakazi nokucengela umphefumlo wam” (Enoshe 1:4).

Kwaba kukhulu ukulamba kuka-Enoshe ngokomoya kangangokuba wathandaza “imini yonke … naxa bufika ubusuka [yena ebe]saphakamisela ilizwi [lakhe] phezulu ukuze lifike emazulwini” (Enoshe 1:4). Ekugqibeleni, uThixo wade wawuphendula umthandazo wakhe kwaye wamxolela izono zakhe. U-Enoshe waliva ityala lakhe litshayelwa. Kodwa ukondliwa kwakhe ngokomoya akuzange kuphelele apho.

Yena wafunda ngamandla okholo kuYesu Krestu, kwaye wawuphalaza umphefumlo wakhe wonke esenzela abantu bakhe—nkqu neentshaba zakhe. Wenza iminqophiso neNkosi kwaye wafumana izithembiso ezisuka kuYe. Kwaye emva komthandazo wakhe onamandla u-Enoshe, waya phakathi kwabantu bakhe waprofeta kwaye wangqina ngezinto awazivayo nawazibonayo. (Bona Enoshe 1:5–19.)

Ayinguwo wonke umthandazo oyakuthi uphendulwe ngendlela engaqhelekanga, kodwa amava ethu omthandazo ayakwazi ukuba nentsingiselo kwaye abutshintshe ubomi. Singafunda izifundo ezithile ezibalulekileyo kumava ka-Enoshe omthandazo. Umzekelo:

  • Umthandazo ungalomeleza ukholo lwethu kuYesu Krestu.

  • Singazifumanela ubungqina bethu buqu bokuba uBawo waseZulwini uyasiva kwaye unengqwalasela kuthi.

  • Ubungqina namandla esiwafumana ngenxa yomthandazo angasinceda sikhonze kwaye someleze abanye.

Njengo Enoshe, mna ndazifunda ezinye zezizifundo kwawam buqu amava. Abazali bam bazimanya neBandla likaYesu Krestu labaNgcwele beMihla yokuGqibela ndiseyinkwenkwana, ndaze ndabhaptizwa ndineminyaka esibhoso ubudala. Ndandisoloko ndinelungileyo, nefudumeleyo imvakalelo entliziyweni yam malunga noBawo wam waseZulwini noYesu Krestu, ivangeli yaKhe ebuyisiweyo, neBandla laKhe. Kodwa andizange ndiqalise ukuthandaza ngobunyani bezizinto ndade ndaba neminyaka eli-16 ubudala.

Ubhishophu wam owayenempembelelo yomoya wandicela ukuba ndifundise iklasi yeSikolo sangeCawe. Kwakumele ndifundise isifundo ngokuba singabufumana njani ubungqina bevangeli ngokuthandaza. Okukuthunywa okwakuvela kwibhishophu yam kwandenza ukuba ndicinge ngobam ubungqina. Ndandithathe ithuba lokuba ndifunde iNcwadi kaMormoni kwaye ndandisoloko ndivakalelwa kukuba iBandla laliyiyo inyaniso. Ndandisoloko ndikholelwa kuMsindisi uYesu Krestu, kodwa ndandingazange ndisifake entliziweni isithembiso sikaMoronayi esifumaneka ku Moronayi 10:4–5. Ndandingekaze ndibuthandazele ubunyani bevangeli.

Ndikhumbula ndivakalelwa entliziyweni yam okokuba ukuba ndandizakufundisa olu lutsha ukuba lubufumane njani ubungqina ngokuthandaza, kwakumele ndibuthandazele ubungqina mna buqu. Umphefumlo wam uye walamba—mhlawumbi ngendlela eyahlukileyo ku-Enoshe, kodwa nangona kunjalo ndandivakalelwa yintswelo ngokomoya.

Njengoko ndandilungiselela isifundo, mna ndaguqa kwaye ndanikela ngomnqweno wentliziyo yam kuBawo waseZulwini ukuba anike isiqinisekiso ngenyaniso endandivakalelwa yiyo ngaphakathi. Ndandinga lindelanga mqondiso mkhulu. Kodwa ndathi ndakuyibuza iNkosi ukuba iyinyaniso ivangeli, kwafika imvakalelo ebuncwane ngamandla kwintliziyo yam—elo lizolileyo, nelincinane ilizwi lindiqinisekisa okokuba yona yayiyiyo inyaniso nokokuba kwakumele ndiqhubekeke ndisenza oko ndandikwenza.

Imvakalelo leyo yatsho ngamandla kangangokuba ndandingenako ukuze ndingayihoyi loo mpendulo kwaye ndithi ndandingazi. Ndaluchitha lonke olo suku ndiziva ndonwabe kakhulu. Ingqondo yam yayisemazulwini kwaye icinga ngemvakalelo entle eyayisentliziyweni yam.

Ukuphendulwa komthandazo kaMdala Soares awawufumana eseyi ndodana kwamvumela ukuba anike ubungqina—njengomthunywa wevangeli (ngentla), utata nomyeni,nomPostile—bokuba uBawo waseZulwini uyayiphendula imithandazo enikezelwe ngokholo.

Ukususela ngoko ukubheka phambili, obu bungqina buye bahlala nam. Buye bandinceda ekwenzeni izigqibo, ingakumbi ngamaxesha endithe ndajongana nemiceli-mngeni ngawo. La mthandazo ngalo mini, kunye nobunye ubungqina endithe ndabufumana kwiminyaka edlulileyo, uye wandivumela ukuba ndingqine ebantwini, ngokungena ntandabuzo, okokuba bangafumana iimpendulo ezivela kuBawo waseZulwini ukuba bathandaza ngokholo. UbuNini noBuni boMthandazo

Eneneni, asithandazi xa sisiva siswela ngokomoya okungamandla kuphela. Ngoko, kumele sithandaze nini? Kwaye kumele sithandazele ntoni? Impendulo emfutshane ngu nanini na no nantoni na.

UThixo unguBawo wethu osemaZulwini. Ukwazi oku kutshintsha indlela esithandaza ngayo. Umprofeti uJoseph Smith wafundisa: “Sinalo ulwazi lukaThixo, siqalisa ukwazi ukuba size njani kuYe, nokuba sicele njani ukuze sibe nokufumana impendulo. … Xa sikulungele ukuza kuYe, ukulungele ukuza kuthi.”1

UBawo waseZulwini usoloko ekulungele ukusimamela kwaye ufuna ukuba sithandaze rhoqo kuYe. Thina kumele ukuba si “cebisana neNkosi kuzo zonke izenzo [zethu]” (Alma 37:37) kwaye sithandaze kusasa, emini, nasebusuku. Thina kumele sithandaze emakhaya, emsebenzini, esikolweni—naphi na apho sise nokubakho khona nakuwo nawuphi na omnye wemizamo yethu (bona Alma 34:17–26).

Kumele sithandaze kwiintsapho zethu (bona 3 Nifayi 18:21). Kumele sithandaze “ngezwi nakwi ntliziyo [yethu], esidlangalaleni nangasese” (IMfundiso neMinqophiso 81:3). Kwaye “xa [si]ngakhali kuyo iNkosi, [kumele si] zivumeleni iintliziyo [zethu] ukuba zizale, zitsaleleke emthandazweni kuye ngalo lonke ixesha ukwenzela intlalo-ntle [yethu], kananjalo nentlalo-ntle yabo ba[si]ngqongileyo” (Alma 34:27). Kwaye kumele sisoloko sithandaza kuBawo egameni loNyana uYesu Krestu (bona 3 Nifayi 18:19–20).

Ubawo wethu waseZulwini ufuna ukusisikelela. Kwaye Yena uyakwenjenjalo—ukuba siyacela. Umprofeti uJoseph wafundisa, “Khumbula okokuba ngaphandle kokucela akukho nto sinokuyifumana; ngoko, cela ngokholo, kwaye uyakufumana ezo ntsikelelo uThixo afumanisa ukulungele ukuba angakuwonga ngazo.”2

Imithandazo yethu esisoloko sinayo rhoqo iyinxalenye ebalulekileyo yokutya okungumlinganiselo ofanelekileyo okondla ngokwasemoyeni kwemiphefumlo yethu elambileyo. Unxibelelwano ngomthandazo noBawo waseZulwini luyafumaneka kwaye lwamkelekile kwiindawo zonke nangamaxesha onke.

Esinye sezibhalo endizithandayo sifundisa ngendlela ekumele sisondele ngayo kuBawo wethu waseZulwini xa siguqele ukuthandaza: “Yiba ngothobekileyo; kwaye iNkosi uThixo wakho iya kukhokela ngesandla sayo, ize ikunike impendulo emithandazweni yakho” (IMfundiso neMinqophiso 112:10). Xa sithobekile kwaye simthobela, uBawo waseZulwini uyakuba nathi. Yena uya kusikhokela ngesandla. Uyakusiphembelela ngokuba siyephi nangokuba senze ntoni. Yena uya kuphendula imithandazo yethu ngokwe yaKhe intando, indlela, ixesha, nangokolwazi olungangxengwanga lokokuba yintoni esilungeleyo.

Thina kumele sikukhumbule oku kwaye sixabise amathuba okusondela kwitrone kaThixo ukuze sifumane iintsikelelo kwisandla saKhe.
