Hear Heaven’s Voice

On page 2, Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles reminds us that the noise of the world can distract us from the voice of the Spirit. Are there distractions in your life that make it difficult to connect with God? You could make a goal this month to reduce these distractions, such as spending more time worshipping in the temple or doing a fast from social media.

Help Others Receive God’s Blessings

The article on page 18 discusses how Church members can find joy and belonging in the Lord’s temple, regardless of marital status. What can you do to help your fellow Saints understand and receive the blessings Heavenly Father has offered to all His children who keep covenants with Him?

Receive and Recognize Revelation

Read the article on page 44 by Elder Christophe G. Giraud-Carrier of the Seventy to find five ideas for receiving and recognizing revelation. In what areas of your life do you need divine guidance? Consider applying the principles taught by Elder Giraud-Carrier as you seek inspiration from God this month.

Doctrine and Covenants 20:75–79

When the restored Church of Jesus Christ was organized in 1830, the Lord instructed His people to “meet together often to partake of bread and wine in the remembrance of the Lord Jesus” (Doctrine and Covenants 20:75). You could try this activity with your family to learn more about the sacrament:

Read the sacrament prayers in Doctrine and Covenants 20:77, 79. You could help your children understand any unfamiliar terms, such as “sanctify.”

What three things do we promise that we will do? What blessing does the Lord promise to give us in return?
What are some ways we can “always remember” the Savior during the week, both individually and as a family?
Your family may want to try to memorize the sacrament prayers. You could use visual aids to help. Later, ask family members what they learned from thinking about the words of the sacrament prayers.
