“Where in the Scriptures Is … ?” Liahona, Feb. 1999, 8
The Old Testament has 39 books, the New Testament has 27 books, and the Book of Mormon has 15 books. The Doctrine and Covenants is divided into 138 sections and two official declarations, and the Pearl of Great Price has four books plus the Articles of Faith. This game tests your knowledge of where each book or other division of scripture is located.
Carefully remove these two pages and page 16. If possible, mount them on lightweight cardboard and cover them with clear, self-sticking paper. Cut out the Title Cards on page 16, place them in a small container, and mix them up. Use the table of contents in the front of each volume of scripture to check your answers.
Each player in turn picks a Title Card and tells where that book or other division of scripture is found. If the player is correct, he or she puts the Title Card in its place in his or her area of the game board. If the player is not correct, he or she puts the Title Card back in the container.
In addition to the information needed in Game 1, each player must also name the scripture book or division that comes before and after the one on the Title Card (unless one does not exist).
